Edward Simpkins, CCM, CCE, CMCA, AMS, CCAM-LS, MCM
Edward is a thirty-six-year veteran of premier club and community management. With a formal education in the culinary arts as his foundation, Edward has managed a variety of club operations including City Club, Yacht Club, Country Club, Resort Club, and Residential Golf Communities. Edward has also served as a management consultant to private clubs and community associations through his company Master Club Management, Inc.. Over the past twelve years, Edward has worked exclusively with large-scale, home owner associations that have extensive country club amenities i.e. “bundled communities”.
Edward’s forte throughout his career has been with the revitalization of clubs and community infrastructure. With extensive experience in commercial construction, restoration, major renovations and remodeling, Edward has been responsible for the management of capital improvement projects upwards of $10,000,000. He also has a track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget. At Lake Wildwood Association in Northern California, Edward completed $3,500,000 in Capital Improvement Projects including a new Community Center and a major renovation of Swimming Pools and a Bathhouse. Edward also completed the conceptual design, secured financing and gained Member approval for a new $5,500,000 Clubhouse.
Edward has extensive experience in member services programing and has successfully developed and executed as many as six hundred diverse activities and events on an annual basis. From grand-scale events for holiday celebrations to food truck festivals, farm-to-table dinners, celebrity chef/winemaker dinners, hot air balloon festivals, equestrian shows, PGA tour events, USPTA regional tournaments, developing an organic community garden, having a full-time environmentalist on staff to provide education and activities, Kid’s Club programs, and sports leagues, Edward is a master at creating programming that engages all Members of the community.
Edward has been awarded the CCM and CCE designations from the Club Management Association of America, CMCA and AMS designations from Community Associations Institute, CCAM-LS designation from the California Association of Community Managers, and MCM designation from Community Managers International Association.
